The ongoing maintenance and development of the Mansfield Wetlands requires community support and involvement. If you would like to volunteer your time at a working bee or make a donation to Friends of the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands, please contact us.

The objectives of Friends of the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands are to:

• promote awareness of land management in the community through group involvement in the project.
• increase local community awareness of the significance of the natural plant community through interpretative walks with signs & brochures.
• enhance habitat for local fauna.
• retain disused railway land for public use.
• promote and encourage the reinstatement of understorey species to the area.
• eliminate, where possible or control exotic plants and animals, including Australian native plants not indigenous to the area.
